Homecoming Highlights

We're just a few days away from Homecoming 2010. Listed below are some of the weekend highlights. Even alumni not celebrating reunions are invited to all events listed below.

The Following Events Will Be Available All Weekend:

Visions of Valor, A Tribute to Medal of Honor Recipients, photo display - Mark Clark Hall Reception Room and Jenkins Hall Lobby.

See the Newly Remodeled Daniel Library, Daniel Library First Floor.

Football Tickets will be available at the Ticket Office in McAlister Field House through Friday. They will be available at the Johnson Hagood Stadium Box Office on Saturday.

Ring Resizing/Reordering will be available in The Citadel Alumni Association Executive Offices 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

Thursday, November 4

6:00 p.m. - Bonfire, all alumni and friends of The Citadel are welcome, Regimental Band will play, football team and coaches will be there, WLI Field.

Friday, November 5

Noon - Alumni Luncheon (Some cadets will be present to have lunch with alumni, open to all, cost is $10.) Annual Citadel Alumni Association members meeting follows, Holliday Alumni Center.

2:00 p.m. - General Rosa Reports to Alumni, Buyer Auditorium, Mark Clark Hall.

3:30 p.m. - Alumni Memorial Service and performance by the Cadet Chorale, Summerall Chapel.

5:10 p.m. - Memorial Parade, Summerall Field.

5:45 p.m. - Citadel Young Alumni Reception, FREE for Classes 1996-2010, Renken Dining Room, Holliday Alumni Center.

Saturday, November 6

8:30 a.m. - Barracks Open to Visitors.

8:30 a.m. - Morning Coffee for Alumni, Holliday Alumni Center Lobby.

8:50 a.m. - Summerall Guards Performance, Summerall Field.

11:00 a.m. - Homecoming Parade, Recognition of Arland D. Williams Society Inductees and 2010 Citadel Alumni Association award winners, All alumni to take review, Summerall Field.

Noon - Homecoming Luncheon. Cost is $7.50, Coward Hall, Purchase tickets at the Holliday Alumni Center until 11 a.m. After 11 a.m. tickets are available at Coward Hall.

Noon - Pre-game Tailgate Party and BBQ Lunch. Cost is $8. Food served noon - 2:00 p.m. only. Drinks served 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Holliday Alumni Center.

2:00 p.m. - RED OUT Football vs. Elon, Johnson Hagood Stadium. Regimental Band and Pipes to perform at halftime. Wear Red to the Game!
